Kravica,
Permanent Refugee camp

Kravica was a small town, with Serbian majority, located throughout the road from Bratunac to Srebenica and near the Serb border. The night of the orthodox Christmas, 7 January 1992, the Bosnian-Muslim general Naser Oric, neighbour of Bratunac, came down the mountains with its army and all its rage to kill its off guard inhabitants.

The few survivors who returned found their homes had been burnt and had no possibility to reconstruct them. This is how the refugee camp was created: large cabins between corn fields, it hasn’t changed in 10 years, houses are simple and there’s mood in the streets, this people must worry to survive with 60€ each month from governmental help.
