Sergi F. Moure.
Born in Sabadell, Barcelona, in 1978.
Studies Physics at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Lives in Groningen, Netherlands, with an Erasmus grant.
Self-taught at the beginning of his photographic career, in 2001 performs a specialization course in Photoreport and documentalism in GrisArt school, Barcelona, taught by Rafael Badia. In 2003, while living in Mexico D.F., conducts a course in advanced digital photography in the Centro Experimental Visual, taught by Agustin Estrada. Later performs a seminar on visual language in the Centro Fotográfico Manuel Álvarez Bravo, Oaxaca, taught by Marianne Rosenberg.
During 2006 performs a postgraduate in Photojournalism at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. In January 2007 travels to Equatorial Guinea to carry out a photographic report about the economical repercussion of the oil. From 2005 to 2008 works with Kvlar photojournalists (www.fotoperiodistes.com), teaching several courses: lab and analog photography, digital photography and photojournalism, also travels several times to Bosnia-Herzegovina to make reports. From 2006 till now working with the Martorell’s City Council teaches courses on photography for immigrant communities.
Currently works as a freelance, manages the photolab of Sabadell’s Historical Archives and teaches photographic courses.
